2019 NFL Mock Draft: The Top 10

Tonight is the night. The lives of 32 young men and the future of 32 NFL franchises will change by evenings end. Without further ado, here are the Top Ten Picks of the 2019 QuarterMaster Sports NFL Mock Draft:

1. Arizona Cardinals - Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio St.

QMS GM: Connor

There's a possibility that the Cards are backing off of Kyler Murray. GM Steve Keim wants to give Josh Rosen his due diligence. Nick Bosa is the best overall talent in the draft. Let him learn the ropes under Chandler Jones and T-Sizzle. It's a win-win either way you look at it. The Cards are switching back to a 3-4 defense under new DC Vance Joesph, Bosa will be the key to solidifying them once again as a top defense. Look for Arizona to address offensive needs in later rounds.

2. San Francisco 49ers - Josh Allen, OLB, Kentucky

QMS: GM: Ethan

The Niners are building a formidable defense around Kwon Alexander and DeForrest Buckner, add Josh Allen to that mix and you've got a foundation for the next half-decade. 6'5", 262 pounds, you can't teach that. He's a big SEC linebacker that can wreak havoc in the backfield. Quinnen Williams is definitely in play here but John Lynch gets an athlete for the edge.

3. New York Jets - Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

QMS GM: Tyler

The first two picks have thrown the Jets for a loop. Expect the Jets to move down from this pick. However, if they can't find a dancing partner to trade with, they have to take the best player available. That would be Williams. The Jets need a whole lot of everything, especially on defense.

4. Oakland Raiders - Ed Oliver, DL, Houston

QMS GM: Ethan

If Kyler Murray is still there at 4, the Jon Gruden pulls the trigger, right? No. You don't trade for Antonio Brown and not give Derek Carr a chance with him. Kyler Murray is overhyped anyway. Ed Oliver may be the best pure talent in the draft and the Raiders need, more than anything or anyone, better defensive line play. Sure, there are several questions surrounding Oliver, but Gruden is a gambler and EO is a high risk, high reward pick. With three picks in the first round, they can afford that gamble.

5. (Trade) Washington Redskins - Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

QMS GM: Christian

Trade Details: Tampa Receives Washington's 1st Round, 2nd Round, and 4th Round Picks

With Kyler Murray falling, the Bucs phone starts ringing off the hook to hop in front of the Giants. Since they have no clue what the Giants want, the Skins sneak up and get Murray who they weren't expecting to fall and get their franchise QB of the future.

6. New York Giants - Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan

QMS GM: Tyrell

No one seems to know what Dave Gettleman is going to do with this pick. He said he must take the best available player. At this point, that is Rashan Gary. The popular pick is Ohio State QB, Dwayne Haskins but the smart pick is Gary.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars - T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa

QMS GM: Christian

The Jags have invested so much money at Quarterback in Nick Foles, you have to get him a weapon. Iowa is the new Tight End U. Seven might be high, but Hockenson is the best offensive skill weapon in the draft.

8. Detroit Lions - Devin White, LB, LSU

QMS GM: Christian

Despite my knowledge of knowing where 90% of the NFL went to college, I can't name anyone in the Lions' linebacking corps. That being said, Devin White is the answer at pick eight which is an absolute steal. There was a debate on whether to go edge rush at this pick but with the signing of Trey Flowers and last year's trade for Snacks Harrison, White is the pick.

9. Buffalo Bills - Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

QMS GM: Tyler

The Bills need to protect last year's first-round pick, Josh Allen, and hopefully, bring Shady get back to his prime years. They had no running game sans Allen and that won't fly if the current Bills regime wants to keep their jobs.

10. Denver Broncos - Devin Bush Jr., LB, Michigan

QMS GM: Connor

The Broncos have an interesting decision at ten. To me, it comes down to either Linebacker or Corner. Bush is a big physical LB that will be another weapon on Vic Fangio's defense. Another piece that will just destroy at the line of scrimmage. The Broncos gave up a lot of yards on the ground so Bush will sure up that run D a bit, plug those gaps and I think he'll be a well-needed addition to that Broncos' defense. Haskins was in play here, but Elway may have eyes on Daniel Jones or Drew Lock in Round Two.
