Friday Night Spotlight 9/29

We have a new #1 in NC! Wake Forest has played very well this season. Their schedule has been tough too, but in the MaxPreps.com formula spit out Mallard Creek as the new #1 in NC. The Mavericks have had an even more daunting early-season schedule. Middle Creek has knocked off 4 teams ranked within the Top 25 (Harding U., Scotland County, D.W. Butler, Z.B. Vance) with ease.  Several teams along the Top 25 rankings have byes in Week 7. Most teams are in conference play this weekend, meaning anything can happen.
